When a mega company owns other subsidaries, that they use when creating different products. An example of this is Disney. They are both horizontally and vertically integrated. 

Joint ventures

When 2 or more independent companies work together and pull their resources to create a product

Major Hollywood film studios that have a high budget, compared to independent films.
